1) Introduction

HU125 fiber optic alignment with multi-purpose leads is a powerful tool for fiber optic characteristic detection, suitable for single-mode (SM) and multi-mode (MM) fibers. It can be easily and quickly connected in any harsh environment, and its fiber optic connection loss is below 0.3dB

(3) Operation Instructions

1. Connect the connector to the light source unit of the instrument to be tested (e.g. O.T.D.R.)

2. First align the HU125 lead with the end, use a brush dipped in alcohol, and repeatedly brush the oil injection port (Slot) in the direction of the arrow as shown in the icon. Then use an air cleaner to clean the oil injection port (Slot) and fiber insertion port (Fiber)

Spray several times at each position of the input port, and then drip a small amount of matching oil

3. After wiping and cleaning the fiber optic core wire to be tested with alcohol, cut it according to the standard method (or cut it with scissors or break it by hand. * Note 1) As shown in the figure, the length of the bare fiber is about 12mm or more. Then, gently and completely insert the fiber into the fiber insertion port of HU125 to conduct the test

*Note 1: If cutting optical fibers with scissors or by hand, only matching oil with a refractive index (ND) of approximately 1.4500+/-0.01 is allowed to be used as the matching medium And use alcohol or pure water with an alcohol concentration of 30% or more

This cutting method is not suitable
