Mars-HK Miniature Single-Core Fiber End-Off-Reflection Interferometer
The Mars-HK miniature single-mode fiber end-face interferometer is a newly developed, non-contact, manually focused interferometer by HOMK TELECOM Designed to be compact and powered without external electricity, it can operate in outdoor or on-site environments. The device accurately and rapidly measures the three-dimensional surface profile of connectors, compatible with all single-mode connectors available on the market. It outputs parameters including curvature radius, fiber height, vertex offset, APC angle, and keying depth.

1. Ultra-fast testing speed
Under normal conditions, each test takes approximately 0.3 seconds to complete, making it one of the fastest interferometers on the market. The unique fixture design allows for easy detection of interference signals every time a sample is inserted, eliminating the need for frequent focusing. After testing, the system automatically reconstructs high-resolution 3D images, 2D color maps, and curve-fitting plots, enabling users to intuitively observe the surface topography of connectors.
2. Ultra-compact design
The device measures only 105mm x 125mm x 60mm and weighs just 1kg, requiring no external power supply—operated via USB.
3. Comprehensive testing functions
The device comes with two interferometer fixtures: a 1.25mm universal and a 2.5mm universal fixture, enabling testing of nearly all single-fiber connectors available on the market, including FC/PC, SC/PC, ST/PC, E2000/PC, FC/APC, SC/APC, ST/APC, E2000/APC, LC/PC, MU/PC, LC/APC, and MU/APC. Combined with Qiyue Technology's self-developed Mars series interferometer software, it delivers the functionality and measurement accuracy of Mars-ML and Mars-AT products.
4. Plug End Face Testing
The device can also be used to test the three-dimensional surface of plug end faces, including curvature radius and vertex offset, as well as calculate parameters such as roughness and scratches. This feature enables plug manufacturers to control end-face polishing during production, thereby improving plug manufacturing processes.

5. PC/APC Free Switching
Switching between PC and APC modes is quick and convenient by simply pressing the clamp. The PC mode uses the "rotating eight-point method" for calibration, while APC testing can be calibrated using the reference method, ensuring accurate and reliable measurement data.
6. Comprehensive data reporting and storage
The device can automatically output test data and reports during testing, facilitating user archiving and management.
